A sports car and a school bus are stopped at a traffic light. The sports car will quickly accelerate ahead of the school bus because is doesn't have as much weight to pull. Both cars will eventually go at the same speed if they both go 30 MPH. When stopping the school bus will have to slow down further away from the stop light because it will take longer for the school bus to come to a complete stop than the sports car would.
